Tim lives in Cocoa Beach with his wife, Courtney. He is the Physics instructor at Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High school.

Tumulty earned an associate degree from Brevard Community College in 2006. He then received a bachelor’s degree in electricial engineering from the University of Central Florida and a master’s in space systems from the Florida Institute of Technology.

I have reached a point in my life that I have realized it is time to give back to the community. I am going to live in Cocoa Beach for the rest of my life and it is time for me to serve.

I am running for office for the right reasons. I am not doing it for money, ego or because I can’t do anything else. I am doing it because I believe that I can contribute to our society, an educated and well rounded perspective, without a money driven agenda.

In 2012 he was elected as a Cocoa Beach city Commissioner. In 2016 he was appointed Mayor of Cocoa Beach upon the resignation of Mayor David Neterstrom.

He is a member of the Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, National Kidney Foundation and the Cocoa Beach Art Show.
